American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.

Binghamton is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Binghamton is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Been a bit since I've seen a joint that offers Hersey's for their hard ice cream. Solid offerings all around.

Amazingly delicious! I had an ice cream sandwich with chocolate cookie outside, swirl ice cream inside, and rainbow sprinkles and it was the best ice cream sandwich I've ever had!

Big shoutout to Suzy-Qβs! Excellent, kind and friendly staff. We dropped $25 while sitting outside of their building. When we called, they said that they had already found it and kept it safe for us until we drove back! On top of that, their ice cream is delicious! We will be stopping here regularly!
